Week 31

I’m blogging this a week late! But i want and need to. I want to look back and remember my whole pregnancy! I’ve been really bad at taking weekly photos too. Ugh. So i’ve just been taking iPhone photos. DOH! Anyways…Week 31… BUSY week! The beginning of this week i had my baby shower! I got more then i can ever ask for! Sai and i are VERY thankful for all the showering of gifts! It really does help us out a LOT! So THANK YOU SO MUCH EVERYONE! Big and small…. We appreciate it all! And thanks goes out to my sisters, my girl Yumee, Brie, and my sister-in-law Ying, and everyone else! For all the help, food, and delicious cupcakes! I brought my camera with me..but of course i completely forgot to take photos! But my friend Ann offered to take some that day! Whew! I’ll post them when i get them from her later! I absolutely LOVED my baby shower! And i had so much fun eating and seeing everyone! <3

The next day we went to a baby care workshop at our hospital! Just learning the basics of swaddling, bathing, and changing diapers! And i’m pretty impressed with Sai! Hopefully he’ll use everything he learned in real life when baby boy arrives! LOL! I doubt he’ll be changing the poopy diapers tho.

I’ve also been nesting…like crazy! I’m usually on my couch and being all lazy..but lately i’ve had this burst of energy to do everything i think needs to get done! This week i obviously had the urge to wash every clothes, socks, blankets, and hats! Anything thats gonna touch my baby..i washed. LOL. And all the stuff in the pic above was just the 2nd load of laundry! xD

Yep. So thats week 31! Busy busy. Another week gone..another week closer to holding baby boy <3

Week 30

It’s week 30! I’m in my 3rd trimester! AND 10 more to go! Or almost..might be early..might be late. Hopefully baby boy makes his arrival ON TIME! I already feel like nothing is prepared.. and 10 weeks will just go by quick. And i don’t want to be late either. I don’t think my body can handle it anymore! So starting at week 28, i started getting the dreaded stretch marks It just exploded and came out of NO WHERE! I thought i was home free since i haven’t had them so far..but no such luck. I couldn’t run away from genetics. BOO! My mom had them…now i do. And yea.. i cried like a lil baby when i first saw them. I even had a panic attack -_- I’m trying to get past having them and trying to get myself to deal with it…since it’s not gonna magically go away! It’s gonna be there FOREVER. *sigh* All the lotions and oil didn’t save me.. but it does help moisturize my skin from all the stretching and relief from the itchiness! Speaking of itching..now that the baby is growing 1/2 a pound each week…my skin freaking itches! It’s really a uncomfortable feeling. I feel like every time i eat my stomach grows and stretch. ack. Anyways.. i’m trying to deal with body image. :T

So far 3rd trimester is ehh…tiring! I get tired a lot now. I feel like i walk slower too? I just can’t seem to keep up. Maybe cause all the weight? I do feel heavier in the knees.. OH and baby boy is getting cramped in there. Cause i can feel every kick and all the squirming! And the hiccups! I love it all but it can get a lil uncomfortable sometimes. My pregnancy has been good so far! except he stretch marks It’s almost about to end..*sad face* But i can’t wait to hold him in my arms!

His nursery is almost complete! Daddy has been working hard to get it done! Baby boy won’t be sleeping in there for a few months after he’s born.. but who knows how much time we’ll have to do it if we waited..right? Dad did a good job! So happy and proud of him! I doubted him and thought he’ll mess up my vision..but he got it exactly right!

Well, now it’s time to focus on my baby shower! It’s this weekend! Hopefully it goes as plan. dah. Cause planning is stressing! But i got my sisters and some awesome friends that is helping! Can’t wait!!…..to eat. puhahaha! Oh and see all my friends and family too I’ll post pics. Have a great week!

Week 25

I’m a few days late with week 25! Oops. That’s just how fast time is going. I hope it slows down a bit after the baby is born!

So week 25 I feel more tired, more hungry, and i think i’m starting  to feel braxton hicks. I’ll feel some pressure and my stomach gets real hard.. it doesn’t hurt tho. Which is all good with me! :] Baby boy is also kicking more often then usual! Sometimes he kicks a lil too hard. But i love it. Just knowing he’s in there..hehe. And i know weight shouldn’t be an issue right now…. but i feel fat! Of course everyone is just gonna tel me not to worry about that since i’m pregnant and feeding a baby..blah blah blah. And i know i can lose it later. The thing is..my eating hasn’t really changed since before i got pregnant but i feel like i’m really packing on the pounds! Ack. I’ll just be eating salad for a few week…to stay on a healthy track.

Well, some of you saw a lil sneak peek of Baby Lwin’s room! Sai finished painting yesterday and i am in LOVE! It’s my new favorite room now! Here is a few things and ideas i have planned out for his room!

5. Baby Mod- Modena 3 in 1 fixed side crib in Navy // 6. Jelly cat- Cordy Roy Elephant // 7. Green elephant bank

I changed it from my original idea. I didn’t want it to be all babyish and cutesy. At first, yea. It was..cause i wanted light gray and light blue walls with all white furniture. And you know.. designing for a boy is a lil difficult. Maybe because i’ve always imagined having a baby girl. So i had so many years thinking of a lil girls room with lots of PINK! lol. So now i had to changed the my way of thinking. No girl stuff anymore! I had to think BOY. As i researched and looked for things online for baby Lwin, i picked up a few ideas here and there. And i kept Sai in mind too. I like cutesy baby stuff and Sai likes modern. And you know, i want my baby to have a cool hip room. Something for him to grow into. And the more i think about what i have above, the more i like it. All the pink is starting to fade out my mind. What do you think?! You likes? I might get rid of the rocking chair tho. We set it up and i just didn’t like it in the room :T So i’ll probably return it! But i LOVE the crib! And so easy to set up! Looks so good in the room! Can’t wait to post it! ;D

TIP:

Ok. So i wanted to make sure that baby Lwin’s room was safe and clean. I wanted voc free paint too.. but i am very picky with color. I love all the colors they have at Benjamin Moore. So i bought a gallon of Natura in Classic gray for $54.99. $54.99?! O.O Good Lord! So we have 3 walls painted in that color. And i also wanted to do an accent wall with 2 other colors. But i didn’t want to pay another $100+ just for paint! I decided to just go to home depot and just get regular ole paint. The guy that helped me out actually told me they can get colors from benjamin moore and mix it right there! OH WHAT?! So i got BM’s Gray owl and White dove at home depot. With that $54.99 i could of gotten all 3 paint color! Doh! Lesson learned. And whoever reads this tip…my loss is your gain! Hope i helped someone out! lol.

Week 24

Wow. It got cold real fast. Time to bundle up! And i have about 15 MORE WEEKS TO GO! Yay!

So week 24.. I’ve had heartburn and a itchy stomach! The itchiness went away but going through it was torture! All i wanted to do was scratch the crap outta my stomach! Glad that is gone! Heartburn on the other hand…i think i can deal with… i can’t live without my spicy and sour food! I JUST CAN’T! lol. So tums it is ;P And now that i’m nearing 25 weeks.. i feel like i pulled a muscle in my stomach and i feel so stretched! Dah! Oh and baby boy is kicks are even harder -_- But i love feeling them..as long as he’s not kicking my bladder! hehe.

Well, i’ve been slacking my weekly pics..cause of laziness. But here are some pics from pumpkin picking! And my adorable, sweet lil niece, Chloe! She is 5 months now! And getting cuter everyday! Her grandparents (Sai’s parents) from Burma came to visit to see their 1st grandchild and let me tell you…they L O V E her! Always holding her and feeding her! Haha. It’s so cute to see. Can’t wait to see them with my baby boy!

Isn’t she cute?! Dah! I love her! hehe! And everyone LOVED her cute lil baby cow costume!
